1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Ventuera mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including but not limited to students, corporate users, moderators, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

Ventuera is a task management and collaboration platform that provides:

  • Task Management: Creation, participation, and submission of tasks for students, corporate users, and moderators

  • Ideation Rooms: Collaborative spaces for sharing and developing ideas

  • Courses: Educational content and course management for students

  • Events: Event listings and registration

  • Chat: Real-time messaging and communication features

  • Wallet: Payment processing and financial transactions

  • Notifications: Updates and alerts about activities and changes

The App supports multiple user roles (Student, Corporate, Moderator, Admin), each with specific features and permissions.

3. Account Creation and Management

3.1 Account Creation Methods

The App supports the following methods of account creation:

  • Username and Password: You may create an account using a username (which may include user IDs, email addresses, or phone numbers) and a password

  • Additional Authentication: The App may also support additional authentication methods, including but not limited to:

    • Two-factor authentication (2FA)

    • One-time password (OTP)

    • Biometric authentication

    • Single sign-on (SSO)

You may be required to use a combination of username, password, and other authentication methods to access certain features or for enhanced security.

3.2 Account Requirements

To create an account, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
     

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • All activities that occur under your account

  • Ensuring that you log out from your account at the end of each session

  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.

3.4 Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms

  • Remove or edit any content that violates these Terms

  • Take legal action against users who violate these Terms

4. User Responsibilities and Conduct

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

  • Impersonate any person or entity

  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App without permission

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
     

4.2 Content You Submit

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or submit through the App. However, by submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the App's services

  • Display your content to other users as part of the App's functionality

  • Store and backup your content on our servers

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to submit the content

  • The content does not violate any third-party rights

  • The content complies with all applicable laws
     

4.3 Role-Specific Responsibilities

Depending on your role:

  • Students: Must complete tasks and submissions honestly and in accordance with instructions

  • Corporate Users: Must provide accurate information about tasks and opportunities

  • Moderators: Must act fairly and in accordance with their moderation responsibilities

  • Administrators: Must use administrative privileges responsibly and ethically

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our Rights

The App, including its design, features, functionality, and content (except user-generated content), is owned by Ventuera and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of content you create. However, you grant us the license described in Section 4.2.

5.3 Trademarks

"Ventuera" and related logos are trademarks of Ventuera. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Processing

If you make payments through the App:

  • Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment processor

  • We do not store your full payment card details on our servers

  • Payment processing is subject to Razorpay's terms and conditions

  • You agree to provide accurate payment information
     

6.2 Refunds

Refund policies, if applicable, will be specified at the time of purchase or in separate terms for specific services. Contact us at support@ventuera.com for refund requests.

6.3 Pricing

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated through the App or via email.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services, including:

  • Firebase (Google): For cloud database (Firestore) and push notifications (FCM)

  • Razorpay: For payment processing

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions and privacy policies.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be available at all times

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted

  • Defects will be corrected immediately
     

9.2 Content Accuracy

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the App. You rely on such information at your own risk.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

  • We are not responsible for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
     

9.4 No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ventuera and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any rights of another party

  • Content you submit through the App

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

11.3 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@ventuera.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will:

  • Update the "Effective date" at the top of these Terms

  • Provide notice of material changes through the App or via email

  • Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ventuera regarding your use of the App.

Account Deletion Policy

This section provides detailed information about how to request deletion of your account and associated data from the Ventuera mobile application.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Ventuera account and associated data, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Submit Your Request

You can request account deletion through one of the following methods:

  1. Email Request: Send an email to support@ventuera.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"

  2. Website Request: Visit https://www.ventuera.com/ and use the contact form or account deletion request form

  3. In-App Request: If available, use the account deletion feature in your App settings

Step 2: Provide Required Information
 

In your deletion request, please include:

  • Your full name

  • The email address or username associated with your account

  • Your account ID (if available)

  • A clear statement that you wish to delete your account

  • Reason for deletion (optional, but helpful for our records)

Step 3: Identity Verification

For security purposes, we may need to verify your identity before processing the deletion request. We may ask you to:

  • Confirm your email address

  • Answer security questions

  • Provide additional identification if necessary

Step 4: Confirmation and Processing
 

Once we verify your identity and process your request:

  • You will receive a confirmation email

  • Your account will be scheduled for deletion

  • The deletion process will begin within 30 days of your verified request

What Data Will Be Deleted
 
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:
Personal Information

  • Account credentials (username, email, phone number)

  • Profile information (name, contact details, organization details)

  • Authentication tokens and session data

  • Device identifiers and push notification tokens
     

User-Generated Content

  • Chat messages and conversations

  • Task submissions and attachments

  • Ideation contributions and comments

  • Uploaded files, documents, and images

  • Profile photos and media
     

Activity Data

  • Usage logs and interaction history

  • Search history

  • Notification preferences

  • App settings and preferences

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes, even after account deletion:
Legal and Regulatory Requirements

  • Financial transaction records (required for tax and accounting purposes) - Retained for 7 years

  • Records required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities

  • Data necessary to comply with legal obligations
     

Business Operations

  • Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be linked to your identity

  • Data necessary to prevent fraud or abuse

  • Records of violations of these Terms (if applicable)
     

Shared Content

  • Content you shared with other users (e.g., messages in group chats, comments on ideations) may remain visible to other users but will be anonymized

  • Content that is part of collaborative projects may be retained if removal would impact other users
     

Backup Systems

  • Data may exist in backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion

  • Backups are automatically purged according to our retention schedule

Data Retention Period
 
After you request account deletion:

  • Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in

  • Within 30 days: Your personal data will be deleted from active systems

  • Within 90 days: Your data will be removed from backup systems

  • 7 years: Financial records will be retained as required by law

Additional Data Deletion Options
 
Partial Data Deletion
You may request deletion of specific data without deleting your entire account. To do so:

  1. Contact us at support@ventuera.com

  2. Specify which data you want deleted

  3. We will process your request within 30 days

Examples of partial deletion requests:

  • Delete chat history

  • Remove specific uploaded files

  • Delete task submissions

  • Remove profile information
     

Data Export Before Deletion
Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data. To request data export:

  1. Contact us at support@ventuera.com with the subject "Data Export Request"

  2. We will provide your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days

  3. You can then proceed with account deletion if desired

Impact of Account Deletion
 
Please be aware that account deletion is permanent and irreversible. After deletion:

  • You will lose access to all your data and content

  • You will not be able to recover deleted information

  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the App again

  • Any points, achievements, or progress will be permanently lost

  • You will be removed from all groups, chats, and collaborative spaces

Exceptions and Special Circumstances
 
Organizational Accounts
If your account is associated with an organization (e.g., corporate or institutional account):

  • Your organization's administrator may need to approve the deletion

  • Some data may be retained as part of organizational records

  • Contact your organization's administrator before requesting deletion


Pending Transactions
If you have pending payments or transactions:

  • Complete or cancel all pending transactions before requesting deletion

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy

  • Financial records will be retained as required by law

Legal Holds
 
If your account is subject to a legal investigation or hold:

  • Deletion may be delayed until the legal matter is resolved

  • We will notify you if this applies to your account
